About ROPAAS

Rwanda Organization of professionals in Agriculture Advisory Services (ROPAAS)

ROPAAS was established in June 2024 by professionals in Agriculture Advisory services from both public and private sectors. It is the country forum for AFAAS.

Its objective is to promote professionalism in agriculture service delivery to sustain the performance of the agriculture sector.

ROPAAS members are made up of professionals holding PhD, MSc, BSc and A1 qualifications in the following fields:

  • Crop production
  • Soil science
  • Irrigation engineering
  • Agribusiness
  • Agriculture mechanization
  • Food science
  • Agriculture extension
  • Rural development
  • Other related fields
